Where to Go to Find Out Where to Go On Election Night

You know who knows where you should hang out on election night? Everyone.

Just about every media outlet in town (us included!) has a roundup of restaurants and bars offering election viewing and specials tonight. We won't pile on with another one. Instead, here's a roundup of all those other outlets' roundups.

But before we get to that, don't forget bars and restaurants aren't the only places handing out ambiguously legal deals; a few shops are getting in on the action, too. Adams Morgan vintage store Meeps is offering 15 percent off storewide, as is its sister boutique on 14th Street NW, Treasury Vintage. Som Records is slashing 15 percent from all used records (and 20 percent if you voted in Virginia). And though it's closed today, subterranean record and clothing shop Joint Custody is offering 10 percent off tomorrow if you flash your sticker.

Onto the booze.

Drink D.C. has a slew of recommendations for the liquor-thirsty. The best from this list? Probably the special at 1920, which is handing out a free shot to anyone who wears an “I Voted” sticker tonight. Also: free Champagne toast for an Obama second term.

The Examiner chimes in with a surprisingly well-rounded list. Ditto the Going Out Gurus.

In The Capital leads with a way too long introduction, and packages their picks into a slideshow. Annoying. We recommend skipping to Slide No. 9. Why? Free Hennessy.

Washingtonian sticks to its comfort zone: tony Northwest and the suburbs. Yawn.

Huffington Post D.C.: This list feels very... aggregated.

About.com: zzzzzz.

The Hill thinks Republicans should hang out at the W Hotel.

Urban Daddy does not approve of Jell-O shots.

Unsatisfied? We thought you might be. Fortunately, City Paper is here to help.
