The play is on stage to Oct. 7 at Sidney Harman Hall, 610 F St. NW. $70-$85. (202) 547-1122.

In the continuing spirit of holidays that were probably made up after one too many rum and Cokes, today is Talk Like a Pirate Day. And in celebration, The Front Page is offering $5 rum cocktails from 4 p.m. till close. The Dupont spot will also feature a $10 fish and chips platter and $6 buffalo calamari...because pirates love calamari? The Front Page, 1333 New Hampshire Ave., NW; (202) 296-6500; (Jessica Sidman)

Everybody loves an in-store. Peppy and scuzzy, Orlando garage-pop outfit Wet Nurse is exactly the kind of group you'd want to catch at D.C. punk haven Smash. Wet Nurse plays at 7 p.m. with Priests at Smash, 1314 18th St. NW. $5. (202) 387-6274.
