		<description>Thanks for posting this, Andrew. Jerry was an amazing person who deserved so much better than this fate. I am really heartened to see from all the tributes from all over the world how my impression of him (a badass drummer who managed to be an even more stellar human being) was shared by so many people. He will be missed.</description>

		<description>Jerry moved into my apartment for a brief stay in 2002. I loved being around him because he laughed at all my attempts at humor like they were the funniest thing he&#039;d ever heard. We had common music interests and both rooted for rust-belt city football teams. I would run into him in the neighborhood and it was always like meeting a long-lost brother. I was cooking up a Thanksgiving message to send him as we always exchanged humorously homoerotic texts on the holidays. I missing him.</description>
