Best Theater for a View

Theater J at Aaron & Cecile Goldman Theater
Aaron & Cecile Goldman Theater

There’s one thing that matters when you go to the theater (well, besides the quality of the play): that you can see the stage. Unless you’re a very tall person, it’s always a crapshoot. And if you are tall, you have to deal with the guilt of blocking someone else’s view. But Theater J in the D.C. Jewish Community Center has solved that problem. The 236-seat theater is built on an incline steep enough to give everyone an unobstructed view of the stage, tall people and Amy Winehouse do’s be damned.
