What is the Best of D.C.?

I’m a history major, so just being in this location is amazing for me. I also give a lot of tours, so I get to meet a lot of people and I get to tell them about the Capitol. And there are a lot of things people don’t know about it. For example, that the Rotunda was used as an emergency hospital during the Civil War. Did you know that? But I think my favorite place in D.C. has to be Statuary Hall because it’s amazing, for one, and then you think about all the stuff that went down in there and all the people who have served and come through there, including Lincoln when he was in Congress.
