A seven-time Grammy-nominated R&B singer and record producer, Joe Thomas (known to many simply as "Joe") burst onto the scene with his 1997 Platinum album All That I Am. The disc reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200 album chart and No. 4 on the R&B chart, featuring "All the Things Your Man Won't Do" and "Don't Wanna Be a Player." Joe's next album, My Name is Joe (2000), became his most successful to date, reaching the top of the R&B albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and eventually selling more than three million copies. The album was bolstered by the success of the lead single "I Wanna Know" and the hit track "Stutter," which hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B/Hip-Hop Tracks charts.
