Eat Local First is a week-long celebration of local food in the Washington, D.C. area. The focus will be on local farms, local restaurants, and the organizations and people that are making locally-grown food more accessible in DC community.
From July 9 to 16, residents can participate in an array of events that celebrate the local food movement. From an urban foraging adventure, to vegan/raw non-cooking demonstrations and a rocking farm-to-street party, Think Local First hopes inspire DC residents to incorporate eating local food into your everyday life.
